While investigating the terrorist activities of a Basque nationalist group, Mexico City photographer Eliseo (Mario Oliver) becomes obsessed with his neighbor, a gorgeous young separatist named Maria (Bárbara Lennie). But when Maria is murdered, Eliseo is the prime suspect.
